Charles “Charlie” Coffey
He was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Beardstown, the son of Eileen Grafton Coffey. He married Diana “Dee” Lyles on Sept. 19, 1975, in Rushville. Surviving are two brothers-in-law, Mike Ransom (and Kathy) and Chris Taylor; one sister-in-law, Jennie Shinall (and James Mayes); three nieces, Annie Collins, Nikki Gregerson and Jenny Wolff; three nephews, Robbie Knous, Chad Knous and Jamie Daniels; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Candy Quillen and Carol Coffey. He graduated from Rushville High School. He was a manager at Alexander Lumber until he retired. Cremation has been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Beardstown City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
